About the Network

The Managers Development Network (MDN) is a joint venture between IHM Scotland and NHS Education for Scotland, designed to provide junior, middle and practice health and social care managers across the country with a range of opportunities to enhance their personal and professional development, network with and learn from colleagues, share good practice and build their CPD portfolios.
Regular local, regional and national education events will explore the topics and issues identified by managers themselves as being the most relevant and useful. The MDN is open to ALL managers, regardless of whether they are IHM members or not. Attendance at most Network events is free and events are scheduled to fit in easily to managers’ busy working days.
This blog currently covers the activities of the network in Fife, Lothian, Borders, NSS, NES and the Scottish Ambulance Service. For any further information you can contact the region’s network coordinator Beverley Beasant – 01382 496359 / 07747 792210

Thank you for your positive comments on the site will be updating it very shortly with some feedback from George McNeill’s “Turning Potential into Reality” sessions.
Looking forward to seeing you at Hugh’s “Managing Risk & Behaviour through Teamwork” event which promises to be both interesting and challenging if only when seeing some excerpts from airline disasters!
See you on the 29th.
